Make Believe

Mostly good
This series is mostly good, dependable British crime drama. The two leads and some of the other characters are well acted. Some of the guest appearances are top rate. Some of the plots are so far-fetched. Caroline Quentin's accent is all over the map. Maybe she should have kept her regular accent. I really like the four kids--interesting dynamics.

Sucker for femae british DI's
I never saw it on tv so it is all new to me and I love it. Amazon does not offer subtitles and that I miss. They speak English but so fast and accented that I often rewind and still can't what was said. It's not Prime Suspect, Caroline is much easier to like than Jane. She doesn't have to be because Jane broke the trail. Her struggles revolve more around raising a family than with advancing in her profession. I ask myself: do you like her because she's not a 20/30 something in $500 stillitoes and a size 2 spouting snarky innuendoes? Yes! Do you also respect that she kindly fended off the hunky Tom"s genuine advances when she and her husband separated. Yes! The Boss has principles. Wish this review has spell check.

Great great great
Gave you my opinion previously it hasn't changed....have more shows like this on Prime Amazon, Netflix has a much better selection of shows,
